Christmas dinner

Just before we sat
To dine
While visiting
My grandchildren
I sat on a comfortable
Chair relaxing.

A knock on the door
was answered
In came a beautiful
Woman

Before any introduction
I yelled stop the press
Stop the press
I handed her
A piece of paper
And a pen.

She looked at me
Baffled
With a strange
Beautiful expression
Upon her lovely face.

I Said to her
may I have Your
Autograph
For a beautiful woman
like you surly
I must have seen you
On the silver screen
Or was it
Within one of my
Most valued dreams.

The night continued
With the whole family
Enjoying themselves
Within the warmth
Of my host's domain
While outside was raging
A snow storm.

The food was great
The wine fine
There was joyous laughter
All around.

Time arrived to bid all
A goodnight
And wish all
A Merry Christmas
I drank none of the devils
Brew.

So selected I was
To drive
The beautiful woman home
We both smiled
Warmly at each other
Hoping
For a heavenly
Ending of this wonderful
Christmas Eve.

Hand in hand
We struggled through
The fresh powdery snow
She stared into my eyes
I read expectation
With her sensuous eyes.

Arrived at her dwelling
She insisted I came In
For a warm drink
Hot coco
Mmmmmm! sounded
All so delicious.

Agreeing I carried her to
And through the door
Removing our coat
I once again
Detected passion
in her mysterious
Lovely eyes.

Mesmerized I held her
In my arms
In a heavily gentle
Embrace
Without taking my eyes
Away from hers
Our lips met
We kissed

She pulled away slowly
Have to make
Your hot coco
And get comfortable
she said
In a incoherent sensuous
Voice while breathing
Fast keeping up
With her heart beat.

Make yourself at home
She said, I will soon
Be back
Making myself comfortable
I browsed
Through her music
And pictures

'Twas about a half
Hour later
When I wonder
Where is she?
I slowly checked
Several rooms
Then I heard a soft voice
Calling out my name.

Come to me I am here
Following her voice
I found her laying
Atop her bed
Wearing just a Santa hat.

Her picturesque body
Was mind boggling
As she beckoned me
With her finger and wink
Saying its your
Christmas gift.

I slowly disrobed like
A trained male stripper
As I reached for her
On her bed
We melted into
Each others arms.

When I heard a voice
Say "wake up" dad
My daughter said
Its time to eat.

I love dreams like that; it's the waking up part that I find disappointing. However, some dreams are so vivid that I have at times been able to will myself back to sleep and continue with the dream. Thank you for sharing, William. Love and peace to you,

Regis

What a delicious one night stand… If only a dream! I really like the ending bring you back to reality.

Only have one thought… I don't think any beautiful woman could be described as "surly." ;-)

Forgiveness by Starla Kaye

Life can sometimes be one gut punch after another. A heart-wounded cowboy and the wrong woman for him struggle with their pasts.
