What beauty, I saw,
In their gentle eyes,
So pure and benign,
In their innocence,
Of twilight years.
They were, an open story book,
For, they had nothing, to hide,
Their smile and gentle ways,
Were down to earth,
They were here, in the now.
Pure happiness, for each other,
Was written, on their angelic faces,
Long forgotten, were their bad times,
If any, ever experienced,
In moments, down the line.
Written, in the wind,
Of God only knows, past times,
This I observed as I sat there,
Thinking of you, the one I love.

I dedicate, this contributive poem, to a wonderful, unknown matured couple, I had the pleasure, of sharing a lunch table,
while shopping at a crowded mall.

Nice!
of poets...we can see things
other passer byers don't
notice. I applaud this write..
This is a wonderful example of
what I have always believed...
Poets are very preceptive...
