I read this 3 times...then just sat and thought on it...it touched me...then I read the reviews....and your profile.....you and I are New Yorkers (i've since moved) but we have a unique way of talking, we have a pace different and intonation thats very individual.....and I read this with that voice....and did not find it lacking!!!

This was good, but,
Now I think maybe some of the word usage could be cleaned up to make the flow smoother... I'm not suggesting you can't write in your own dialogue but some of the seperations and things like "I be" just don't fit stylistically with the rest of the work. Only my humble opinon :). Bravo.
