My Loneliness, is as vast
As a calm ocean
Without wind nor ripple disturbance
Mirrored glass waters, reflecting seagulls
As they silently soar above.
~~~*~~~
The surf is soundless
when meeting the shore
Water fowls, gently bobbing on the swells
Before their silent dives.
~~~*~~~
Lonely, as the hazy horizon afar
Inter lapping, with the heavens
As a slow moving sail ship
Ghostly disappears, before your eyes.
~~~*~~~
The eerie sound of a foghorn
Echoing throughout the harbor,
Awakening me, from a day dream
Bringing me back to reality
And an aching heart.
~~~*~~~
My only sanity, is your loving image
I carry, deep in my heart
And the aromatic, scent of you
My darling
As my thoughts of you never part.
