Perfidious Ways

 Dare, you return my way

After slithering astray

With a venomous asp

And forsaken dignity.

~~*~~

Of vows we took In yesteryears

When time were good

Leaving suffering and tears.

~~*~~

Once the sun, shone upon us

Gloriously, displaying approval

Of a love,

that was meant to be

Before deciding your removal.

~~*~~

As you conspired

Your perfidious ways

With an asp, that tempeted you

~~*~~

so to you, I say

Depart from me and stay astray.

William, this is an older poem, filled with a different energy than that of the man I know. So glad to know you now. Time heals all wounds, thank goodness.

Damn her, the viperous vixen! Slay thy wretched viper with verses dipped in acid! Excellent. I love that word, Perfidious, has many translations, none good.
