Moon Beams

~~~~~~ In the secured Darkness of my room Hands interlocked Under my head A thousand mile stare Through the ceiling Not really looking Anywhere Within my mind I see The wondrous Stars Illuminating the velvet Heavens of the universe. ~~~~ Wondering who's heart Pants out of control That you're near As mine fibrillates Without a beat But in cadence With a tear Flowing down my face The night is warm The Moon is full Moon beams falling Into place. ~~~~ Blessing my room Through the slits Of my soul's Blinds In my dreams Your smile Teases me From a thousand miles Oh, come to me My precious, heal my soul Re kindle the embers within As they turn cold Your lips I wish to kiss Before I draw, my last breath For he who is knocking Is call death. ~~~~ By: William Bonilla 5/27/03

This is both sweet and sad. I enjoyed this a lot. It's filled with wonderful imageries. While inside your room, you have the whole universe within yourself.

Very dreamy, beautiful, and yet written with enough longings to give this a sad note.
