In days of old and times anew,
I see a mellow warmth in you.
Hardships trial and error bring.
This hurting place, that sorrow flings
upon the soul of one so kind...
A friend, a traveller through time.

A gentle hand to hold in mine,
to walk through tunnels made in time.
Someone to share these words of Truth,
of honesty, and wondrous youth.

Tears and laughter of the past
echoeing through shadows cast
upon the heart and rest within,
They seek to find the Truth again.

Someone, whose caring, throughtful ways
take time to brighten up the days
that darkness placed upon the soul -
By giving half; complete a whole.

A man whose spirit's given me
the tenderness believed to be
within the halls of endless time,
like fairytales or children's rhymes.

You've brought this Love through time unknown,
and carried hurt throughout the storm.
You've weathered life's dull, raging pain,
and risen with the sun again.
