As the time grows nearer
and the excitement builds...
and I see the vision of your face
etched in my mind, from a past time,
what graces my memories
the most, is your most beautiful
and completely delightful smile.
Stay awhile, share your warmth.
We need not rush...so much
time lies ahead - time to explore
this day and the next to come,
time enough to know someone.
And in the peace of your light,
as I cannot imagine that has changed
(a beautiful place),
I stand, my heart and my mind
suddenly filled with
a thousand reflections of time
gone by, and time yet to come...
An era of true friends, a time of much fun
filled with the light of Father sun -
a reflection of the stars upon forever.
A heart that has hurt, but not bittered...
A man who has loved, who will love again,
true , warm and kind - a genuine friend.
A woman still warm; no ice
has formed over the years of her
hurt and heartache...
they can know and live peace.
Perhaps these two souls
will love and live free.
