Sometimes, I feel like a tiger trapped within the barred and mortal bonds of humanity...ever testing the boundaries placed around my being by the wiles of society's pretense and hypocrisy. Challenging every seam, every weakness, taking each opportunity afforded to break free of the conservitudes of leashed will. Yet still, I have Faith in the shining star of humankind; Still, I walk forward, following the stars of my dreams, certain that what seems illusion will show itself to be my own special piece of the reality of inner peace. At ease with the world around me, ever humble in my view of my fellow man, and this life so delicate; so precious, in the eyes of God... And His vast choir of angelic beings share their radiant light - given freely from His stores to replenish the tired hearts of His faithful and loving children; His warriors of Truth - shine in me and in you.
What a beautiful thought. I particularly liked the part about inner peace- it is such a journey to find a balance, one that I feel I am currently on. Your poem shows the beauty in that peace.
