In the middle of ground zero
the Lord’s cross marks the tragedy
of the day of shadows, visited
upon so many; empty violence,
senseless calamity...Satan’s pride.
Let us never forget the colour
of Satan’s dark hand, as he
spreads his violence throughout
the land of dreams...give him
no room to tear the seams of
society’s heart - depart evil
one, move over, return to
your darkness, for the sun
of God’s light shall burn what
is left of your crumbled wings...
They carry you no more - vengeance
has singed the flesh from
wings that once flowed with the
light of heaven...
And now, as those wings drip
the darkness from whence you have
come...go back to hell...darkened one
and deliver a message to the minions
that you lead...that God still lives,
that Truth still gives heart peace.
Your vain attempts of retribution
rebound and send you further into
the pit of fire...you can climb no higher
from your raging sea of flame...
And as God’s new order arrives,
and makes it place upon His beautiful
and green planet earth...the name of
darkness shall be forgotten as His
children
look out upon His shining sea of forgiveness...
And come to know that, no matter how dark
the dark, nor how boundless the sea of
Satan’s calamity...the light of heaven
will always shine on the children of God
and salvation shall be our glorious reward.
