Poem Artwork

What you see is the reality of the poet,
one of noble heart and kind words,
willing to share with anyone who wishes
to listen, the wisdom of the heart’s pain...
it’s joy and it’s melancholy - it’s ever constant
state of hope and a vision of the future
at peace...all with one another,
living and believing in the light of Faith
and the strength and bounty of Loving.
I, the poet, do willingly and openly give
to the world, my heartfelt emotion -
It comes free, no price is there to pay
for but a moment of bliss.
To be moved in the centre, where spirit lives...
to awaken the naked heart - this is poetry.
Human, divine, physical, ethereal...
Life beyond all sight does truly exist;
to the poet...a part of every day’s dreams.
Another inspiration, fleeting...momentary - ah, captured
by the pen and the gift of a guided hand...
Taken from the air, poured from creation’s cup
into the bounty of mortal mind.

Your Poet is certainly far nobler and grand than my feeble imposter. I bow to my greater, and confess that this poem is splendid.

"The Poet" depicts an interesting face of the poets, and their inner faces.

I enjoyed this masterpiece.

Beautiful! You've captured the true
essence of writing poetry. A poet
has truly exposed their being to all.
