Life is a journey, susan...and you have depicted the travelers all too well... from those who dare to dream but never have the courage to live to those who jump right in and live every minute. I say lets stick our necks out once in a while, take a chance, and see where life takes us. You blend the most beautiful words for us Susan.

Itineraries are all planned from beginning to end. Travelers through space and time just do not have the complete overview, but they have to act upon what they know. From such a perspective running into dire straights or dead end streets is often the result of incomplete information. Yet nothing is without purpose or meaning, as is the involvement of others whose paths we crossed on our way to marks in the stints in spacetime. We will all land where the Light destined us to arrive, even if at times our journey seems to lead to places we were unable to anticipate.

As the saying goes it takes all kinds. There are so many paths we sometimes have to take risks to find the right one, and many times one is no different in the end than another. Life is a journey of choices and many times we don't know if we made the right one until we get results. Excellent thought provoking poem Susan!
The most important journeys in life should not be started without a destination.

The journey is beset with many potholes, some of them more dangerous than others. The meek take the straight and narrow, smooth path to their journey's end, while the foolhardy, some might say, are chance takers and midnight fakers, who usually wind up at the conclusion of their journey, if they even make it, with the scars of life imbedded within their faces and more importatly in their souls. Both will have reached their promised land, but only one will know enough about the journey to appreciate it.
