Shadow boxing silhouettes in tawdry shapes and sizes
Throwing blows that morph their forms...never realizing
Binoculars that trespass with eyes that roam at night
Never fully comprehend...its loving, not a fight
Things are not as they seem but wishes make them so
Silhouettes that stretch to kiss and tug the others' woe
The touch is flesh, it pulls up close, it kisses from behind
But from a distance it's the shapes of fighting behind blinds
Making something from the forms boxing in the shadows
Passions never hurting just kissing... blow to blow
Stroll on past this house of joy, go without a trace
Take your whims and bawdy dreams and leave this love to space
Shadow boxing silhouettes making love not hate
Facing off behind their blinds while you just vegetate
Silly fool, you lonesome dolt, go find yourself a habit
Leave alone these silhouettes while they love like rabbits
So many meanings of things to us depend on how many different ways we look at them and on how many different peoples perspectives we take into consideration. So sad that all is not as it appears,yet sometimes it is so much greater. sorry I've written a mini dissertation. Very inspiring poem. Pierre.

Hahaha!!! Thank you Susan, I mmentioned to Sage that something pulled me to AD today and away from the novel (going along quite nicely by the way) and you join her in giving me good vibes and gooder (hehe) feelings. Thanks.
The old song by I think it was the Diamonds called Silhohettes comes to mind after reading this, the guy so in love when he saw the two lovers silhohettes in the wind it broke his heart til her figured out he was at the wrong address.
Watching sillouettes on the shade right now. Never liked the view from big city windows--just cold, many-windowed buildings and street noise far below.
Oh my God, this is totally delightful, Susan! I love it -- read it three times -- you did a wonderful job with this poem.
