What do you do when your hands are tied
When your heart is aching and your strength is tired
What can you do for a friend who needs to mend
Where to begin?
How do you uncage a magnificent bird
How can he eat, this is absurd
How do you rock him to sleep when he's cold
How to enfold?
Where do you run with him when you're through
Where does the Phoenix fly but to you
Where can you lull his weeping tears
Where down the years?
Hopeless and angry my tears well
Why has he fallen into this Hell
How can he live when he's not free to fly
Caught in this trap and not knowing why.
Love is the catalyst it unlocks the cage
Hopefully time will set the stage

The flight of our most craved longings are chained achingly to the emotion studded wrist strap of our multi - caged lives.
Only the occasional breeze of a sigh ruffle their untested feathers. Meanwhile, waiting we wait.

This life in this plane is merely a minute stint in our journey toward our Source and Destiny. The agony and grief that overwhelms us here and now will one time be nothing but a memory that helped shape to us into the ones we will be.
