Poem Artwork

Spellbound and loving it
Heaven deep in thought
Holding on to a memory
In a fist clutched and caught
Sucking up the essence
Of every breath you took
Lapping like a gentle tide
A page turns in the book
Feathered brush strokes along this ebb
Two pulses holding hands
Passions paint in bolder strokes
A new chapter makes a stand
Ebbing with a fine line
This bonded pleasure grows
Supernatural fissures start
As breathless love reposes
Heaven sent this miracle
Then opened up it's growth
It brings a smile so generous
A lump grows in my throat
My blood runs with his now
As memories ooze to keep
The love of all my lifetime
With still waters running deep.

I look for poems that capture the essence of what I feel for my Jeff...this is as close as I've come to finding it in writing. Thank you. Your words are spellbinding

I know this love, but you made it so easy to enjoy and relive the intensity of such an incredible experience. "With still waters running deep" - such a visual for such an abstract sentiment as love.
Truly enjoyed your vision, Kathy

As always you allow the sensuality of your heart and your desire meander through your poem like a lazy stream awakening the fantasy in the readers mind as you go along. Well done.
hugs dear Susan.

How beautiful is this? It positively oozes with the rich seam of redness that is the freshness of flesh and spirit caught totally naked, vulnerable and pulsing with delight. Like an emotional birthing of sorts, the "longed for or gestated" becoming born and actual. Love the lines: "Two pulses holding hands" and "Supernatural fissures start" most especially. Have missed you, Susan, and have been thinking about you and especially little Mason. Hope all is well. Love, Kate xx

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
