"We are born helpless. As soon as we are fully conscious we discover loneliness. We need others physically, emotionally, intellectually: we need them if we are to know anything, even ouselves."
-C.S. Lewis
If I were to kiss the palms of his hands
Pour oils as sweet as nectar to soothe his pines
If I were to kiss his fingertips then trace a line to his palms
Caress them to my cheek where they belong
If I were to take his hands in rhythmic yearning
Press to my breast to ease his fitful burning
Then press my lips to his lonesome mouth
T'would ease the more his sad and turned down pout.
A heart as caring and compassionate as yours deserves all the appreciation in the world, and rarely receives it. I appreciate You!
This poem to me speaks of a woman's true appreciation of a man.

I agree with Broome, which is a rarity for me. You need to start a new woman's movement. One which celevrates the differences between the sexes rather than screaming insults at them.
I've nominated you to head a new movement within the woman population. Your assignment; to teach all women, using your poetry... starting with this one. Methinks your doing this would make life so much better for both sides. How wonderfully you describe the problem and supply the answers. Now, what can I do for you?

Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
