It's the Eve of a magical birthday
When Christ our Savior was born
In my heart an abundant harmony
Lives from that moment on

May the blessings of this spirit

Loving and helping each other
With smiles from ear to ear

The mockingbird that owns my backyard comes by every day in my pygmy crepe myrtle and eyeballs the green asparagus fern below. He dives down and comes up with a red berry. Rations them until spring. Closest thing to Xmas in Texas.
