Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate... but that we are powerful beyond means...

By Susan Kathryn de Vegter - Shalom he said ...I'm Jewish If that matters to you I smiled within the comfort What was I to do I've never thought of differences In me and any others I always thought peacefully We were technicolored brothers Shalom I said ...my new friend It's nice to welcome you Then hand in hand we walked away Together just us two It makes no difference who you are Your wealth or nationality Your heart beats peace before you speak It comes through more rationally If we listen to our hearts and not what news reports We would find love is universal Theres nothing more to it If we make a circle with our hearts Then put all hate aside To make our shine more uniform We'd grow more hearts worldwide.

Well said. But those who profess a religion need to examine its blood-soaked history when all others are inferior and exterminated in the name of god.

These are wonderful dreams, Susan. There is such a huge gap between politics and humanity that it is beyond belief. It is a lot harder to hate someone once you have learned their name and established similarities than it is to engage fear and hate catagorically. If we all just roamed the earth without countries, borders and politicians, I think we could find peace within sister/brotherhood.
