To the top of the mountain this quest I took
The eager search of a woman overlooked
High till the hawk cried from beneath
High as the hopes in bundles that keep
Getting filled with desires and needs
Spilling the honey...awaiting your seeds
Then you...
You were there when our souls parted the space
You touched my fingers...kept up with my pace
Confounded the needs...opened a fountain
Produced a hunger that echoed in mountains
The frenzy...
The sunburned hands that drifted on flesh
The lips that roared and passions meshed
The push and nips...the bites just then
The roar of thunder on sunburned skin
The sparks that lit a darkened night
The fluids merged with love...the sight
The lesson...
Of eyes upon a drunken bond
The one that stays...a gift so fond
To two who met a challenge dared
Then came apart but stayed in pairs
Love can place a special wand
Upon a pair with outstretched arms
Upon a love so great in need
That each new glance is its own seed
To grow and prosper...forget the past
Hold to hopes and watch it last
There in a dreams' mountain...
Me so free
Embodied in you...the other half of my seed.
Such beautiful romantic eroticism which a large dose of the metaphysical too. Excellent poem.

You have risen for me. My Goddess of light and thought. Thank you for my fulfillment. Now I can think. And it is good that now I can think. You make me think. I wish more could do that. Bill

Pretty lady, you have many admirers of your work. Fine work too.
Very nice, Susan. My poem, "The Half-Folk" looks at this theme from a different angle, though it is not nearly so well written as your "The Other Half of Me."
Best regards,
Leland

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
Peace,
