For The Love of Sunshine

If only's are regressive for the things she should have done.
She lived the life she wanted; had kids and loads of fun...
Her dreams surpassed a woman's hopes when thoughts turned into tears
Her love went stale, then took a hike...and conditioned all her fears.
She learned to pass the time with work and let the feelings go...
Came neglect with every nuance of emotion's overload.
That took a backseat to this Babe and kept "in check" her charms,
Till "one look" from a handsome man..."not meaning her no harm",
His heart did take a liking to her ways of firm control...
Inviting arms took up her dreams and then she lost control
Of passions she forgot she had...their emotions bonded tight,
This left them, often...breathless...with one slight oversight...
It seemed that they were taken with past obligations too
And their hearts, somehow...were shaken as hopes turned to the truth.
For into their lives walked heaven...not a knock nor nudge to woo
And gave their souls a jolt to catch with never much a clue
Of future probabilities...the negatives were there
The beat of two completely torn...for their love needed care
For both were given joys untold with dreams that came to call
Then softly whispered to their hearts that love was on the ball!
Reminding them that beauty waits in love that gets reborn,
The moral of this story tells to keep "in check" love's form
For true love comes and whispers deep to all that keep its spark
Alive until that perfect match brings light into the dark
To dance with fools whose love was taken victim with these charms
To wrap them up in peace and joy...secure within loves arms.
She now smiles solely for her man who sleeps in another's bed
And love controls her soul again...she fears but there's no dread
For he too has the problems here of one that shares her charms
The trust has come to these who wait...in him...his heart...his arms
To "FEEL" again for love so deep has made its mark a new
Sunshine loves her man so much...sparks in her eyes of blue
He's put back life into this babe and tingled dead desires
She gave him back a love so true ...reset his inner fire.
Now what will come of loves new march into the distant light
It doesn't make a lick of sense to cede without a fight
In other words for these two loves there may just be a way
To keep their spirits held "in check" forever and a day.
He loves her too and she's his babe...the one he keeps inside
To share their love with all the world would be their soul desire
For now, alright...just keep it where these loves can share their space
Give dignity to their special love...inside...without a trace.
Of smiles that stay within their hearts when each one is around
For true r passions never speak when love is tied and bound.
