Woman-Woman

I don't have much to show for love
But Quiet tracks of tears
The salty type that never leaves
The sort that stays for years
I've Xeroxed memories...programmed pains
With life's ill-fated turns
I've shook and trembled through dark hells
My hopes were torn and burned
I've tried real hard to disconnect
My mind from this torn heart
I've thrown myself into my work
Even split my soul in parts
Then tried to cry through dried tears
Each drop a hollow echo
The serenade of saddened years
The film in vibrant techno
Then life returned a few years back
I awoke without the weight
Great tonnage shifted from my heart
It made my body shake
Reality crept and wakened
The bitter side of me
Opened up my insight and made my spirit free
I have no clue... just why...just then
I knew the chains were gone
My focus set itself to shine
My tomorrows found a home
This woman who before was shaken
Now...was feeling strength
I moved with stealth on shards of pain
Stalking tears I had to wrench
I decided then and there
To let this old love die
Just then my wings opened up
I found my strength to fly
I've soared since then and conquered scars
I found this woman-woman
She's the best I've ever been
Its love she's sees now coming
I have a heart so beautiful
To give and share again
"He's" out there thinking, "Where is she"?
While I'm here...awaiting "him".
