To all my artist friends.

Susan*

An artist of geometric dreams

Golden shades of yellow

Browns for eyes in cubic form

Certain kind of fellow

Circles, squares, triangles,

Tubular shades of blues

Dancing on the canvas

In images of who?

A character of Picasso?

The dreams of Dali too?

Ears of fluid imagery

Smiles of me and you?

Artists' mind of wisdom

Cubic forms of true

Value of expression

Grays of lead he drew

Upon the page of canvas

A sketch of shapes in line

His shadow of fantasy

This artist of new time.
