Only in dreams did life run smooth
and wings carried me to peace.
Tranquil love rushing in warmth
leaving my heart in one piece.

Only in dreams was my hand held
and a new world was then begun.
Only in dreams did I feel elated
in knowing they're the one.

Only in dreams a love so Heavenly;
fulfilling every shattered bruise.
Sometimes dreams are swept away
when angels bring something new.

Only in dreams did I know love
and only then it knew me, too.
No dream could ever compare
to the miracle of you.
