All the dark side, I've shown you and you continue to follow and assure me that you care. I become senseless and crazy, paranoid and obsessive but you're always just right there.
Nothing seems to faze you regardless of how I react. You continue to be so good. Falling harder every second I can't seem to stop this not that I ever would.
I become protective and snippy, moody and giggly but you're calm everytime. My love, it never wavers, and yours I try to savour as you reassure me that you're mine.
This love has taken me so fast I couldn't see where I fell; I panicked, but you caught me anyway. You're a novice but a sweetheart and you always reassure me because I question you everyday.
All that I've asked of you is usually repitition of before and at peace you remain. You must know something that I don't; you must have faith that I should because you've stayed.
How could I ever doubt this you've calmed me day to day and yet in prayer I begin to cry. The angels are watching and God is surprising; He gives you the patience and me the time.
Everything good is beginning to grow and all the doubts are fading but I'm sorry to start off dark You've been good this whole time I owe you my life and soul but you've already stolen my heart.
Started off so real I thought I might scare you but with faith you're still here. Every night I'd question and you'd always answer despite my unnecessary fear.
Losing all my breath and freely giving my life to walk with you through a new door. I'm fearful of this chance and I'm not so sure anymore ... of the doubts that I had before.
There are never enough words for a thank you to an angel so I stand here quite speechless. My love, it never wavers, as I stand here giving myself, trusting you in my own weakness.
When I read poetry of this type, I always imagine these two kindred spirits have known and loved before, in another lifetime. Interesting food for thought here! Good write.
Like the line: "He gives you the patience and me the time," as it melds both the perspective I with the perspective you before God. In this line we see that the person sees the other, their love, as part of them by including them in the same line. You take the rest of the poem along the same lines and it flows beautifully. At the same time, we, the reader, are given a glimpse into the true nature of the relationship yet not given a full view--there is still a sense of specialness only for the two in love that is not fully revealed. What I mean to say is that the verse is direct and yet indirect at the same time. J.
