drastic changes are quite expected,
but nothing could prepare you for
how less your love is accepted.

Those whom cherish love are precious
and should be rewarded; forgotten not
because in love they, too, dwell.
Your choice how much love may allot. 

Choosing love is at first quite simple
but for trouble you're more qualified.
Hence the quitters when the going is tough.
We are failures when we fail to abide.

Do not love expecting reception
for in that thought you'll fall already bruised.
You will see that love is a lifestyle
and a path that is rarely ever used.
