With my AuthorsDen coming to a close this December, in honour of my long stay with AD I will be posting up more poetry this month. You may use e-mail to contact me after December. Thank you AuthorsDen.

Created in the hands of God
we are born with unique lives
to be individuals as He wished
so the same we do not die.

The world's forgotten who they are
drowing in conformity.
Forgotten to follow dreams;
now an abnormality.

Ice blues hands and numbed hearts
cry out for necessity
but it's hard to hear the cries over
cacophonic accessories.

Lives are packaged gifts
meant for whom they're given.
The angels cry as they watch
the motives by which we're driven.

We've forgotten about life
in the chaos of success.
Let us leave our lives to God;
to this who can confess?

Buried in rules, ages and limits
creating lives so conformed.
Mainstream predicts what's right;
so why is right not the norm?

Common sense lectures us daily
when at what age things are good.
With the state of the world now,
conform to these rules, we should?

Look no further than past your nose
to hear "common sense" preached.
For it lives in the innocence...
this is where darkness begins to reach.

As always you bring it to a close nicely. There are some great lines and a couple slightly awkward but altogether this is good. J.

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
