A prose at bedtime.

My once full head of brown hair is no more

Now my head is covered in silver

Gold may be precious to some

But to me it is only my temporary years

I do not count the days because it may take years

But my expiration day has to be close at hand

My loneliness exceeds my expectations

But I have loved too and lost

My Lord has granted me at least one gift

I love with every fiber of my being

A taker was never my calling

Giving was my virtue

So now the simple things appease me

I listen to lovely music of all styles

My eyes betray me but I read masterpiece poetry

I still am a spectator of my boyhood sports

Football is my delight

Baseball is pure ecstasy

I bob and weave as a boxing match goes on before me

However I miss the touch of a woman

It is the greatest of all things God has created

It has reached my bedtime as this is being written

Hopefully with the grace of God I will dream

Dream I must for a growing mental image

As the old saying goes Good Night

Good Night, Good Night

To be able to love that way is priceless. Enjoyed the poem Tony and the sincerity behind it.

Silver is as silver does
Don't rely on fate because
She is fickle as you know
Now sir off to bed you go.

Sweet Dreams and just have a restful night...

Your wishes are going to come true..patience is a virtue, so keep on putting your desires out to the Universe, they will be heard!

Much peace, love and light,
