Glorify Yourself

A distant call to those you have passed away.
------------------------------------

Where or when is it the time to glorify yourself

Is it when you wander through an open flame of intense fire

Or maybe when you look hostility straight in there eyes

I remember a time many years ago confronting a man with a long kitchen knife

My scars are a great reminder of it

Now years have quickly passed and I live minute to minute

Physical love is not all I am missing

My beautiful daughter whom I love dearly lives across the great Atlantic

I miss her terribly, but I also know I will never be with her again

That is why I am so intriqued with death

Do we have a vision from the great beyond

I wonder if I have former loved ones and friends watching me now

Deep within my soul is a fear, a fear of dying

This comes from a person who has twice tried suicide

Maybe I should forget about death and re-glorify myself

If I do not do it who will

Interesting write Tony and very deep! Continue to pray and believe God promises! He is right there with you! Be encouraged, and may the Lord give to you renewed strength and courage!

Much Love,
Margaret

I don't know all the answers but I do know that when my dear father was dying he talked to his mother and brothers who had been deceased for years. Death is a part of life but not the part we need to dwell on too often. Thought provoking pen.

I am not sure any of us actually glorify ourself
but inside here I read the love to love
the opening of expression which knows
when the absence is a heavy burden
May Your Thresholds Bring You Closer
To Your Family
as you are with your Den Family Tony

Love & Blessings Dear Den Brother

Extraterrorestrial Beings v4 by RickthePoetWarrior

Our heroes are revealed for all they are, the final flash of a dying star, for with this pen I do they mar, with hopes I leave ‘em all a scar.
