Your poem, It's Over, touched me, prompting me to write this.

FOR DAYVID
 
When it’s over,
 
 it’s over. 

Or, is it?

Sometimes when it’s over for one

It’s still not over for the other.

What's right for one,

isn’t always right for both.  

So sad.   

Still, the sun rises on another beautiful day. 

Life goes on.

Hearts heal

,,,, hopefully….

You and I both know the pain of 'moving on' but the rewards can be wonderful once the courage is found to take that first step toward healing.

Oooh, I like this response to Dayvid's fascinating work. And my feeling is, if one must leave to recover their life's joy, then they are very brave if they have the self-respect to be able to do so. They are doing the other one a favor by being honest. There is always ice cream, especially chocolate.
