I've gone through some old files of things I started, but never finished. I found this from some years ago.

GETTING BY
 
Happy Hour “PUNCH,”
wonderful weather.
A beautiful sunset,
spooning together.
 
Afternoon delight
at the dawn of the morn.
Enjoying the calm
before the storm.
 
A full moon
in the eastern sky,
pleased with the way
I’ve been getting by.
 
The “fish” are “biting,”
dinner is supplied.
She’ll stop by later,
we’ll take that “ride.”
 
Ancient remedies
there for the asking.
A loner’s life,,,,
multi-tasking.

our BIG DADDY pulls us through some heartbreaks and losses we thought impossible to survive doesn't He...pulls us kicking and screaming...stays w/ us in the darkest of dark til we can 'get by'
