It might have a lot to do with time of year....at least it does for me.....I'm one of the guilty for not posting much these days...been really busy and not feeling especially inspired of late....I need some warm sunshine......

I expected lots of leisure time once I retired but each day passes more quickly than the day before. The day ends and I haven't written a thing. :(

Seems everybody else have said it all regards this subject...I too have noticed less & less postings daily...alot of people are on Facebook and I think that that takes alot more time for most...I try to get posts up, but for some reason I find that I have lost "some" interest...e

When I look at the list of poets I've tracked over the years, most are no longer posting. There seems to be a lot of factors at play. Probably foremost is the failure to sell or get recognition for their book of poems. Many have left because they could no longer afford the cost of AD. Some have become too old, too ill, or died and therefore can no longer post. Some have been maligned or stalked and some of those doing the maligning have been booted out. The economy may have caused some to work more hours and cut expenses like AD. Finally, competing social networks like Facebook and everyone getting involved in texting on their cell phones have taken too much of peoples' time.

I too have been away doing all music and am just now reviving a deeply sleepy muse.

Nope, I feel the same way. I track quite a few poets, but there aren't very many posting.
