Hard as the dickens to be progressing,
this I have no problem confessing.
Achieving something in life,
usually takes a little suffering in strife.
If it was easy to do,
everyone would be achievers too.

Just as important as making it,
having the fortitude to keep it.
The creator gave us a body,
we were named to be somebody,
names distinguish us from anybody.
A body requires maintenance,
up keep in substance.

Just staying alive is an accomplishment,
keeping our bodies in nourishment.
On out beyond,
we strive for goals that fond.
Some reach their goals,
then end up loosing their souls.
Martha Stewart had everthing,
lived the life of a king and queen.
Sitting high on her hill,
she finally took a big spill.
Foolishness tripped her up,
now she's branded corrupt.
She's not the only big name,
many others play this game.

Back down the hill,
gives me a chill.
So I work hard to maintain,
just simply remain,
where I'm at.

I may not be,
still I see.
With something in sight,
I feel alright.
I like this feeling,
maintaining is quite
appealing.

Ah, we all like to see the mighty tumble and the site is even more applealing if these mighty folks are b**ches or ba**ards. We are a voyeuristic, blood-savoring people. Unfortunately I am among that crowd, can't help it, like to see 'em fall.
