Touch & kindness of a red rose,
thorn stabbing in fools those.
Shadowing all the foregone,
thorn stick pain of bone.
Not garden grown normally,
turned black in life informally.

Lacking love of nourishments,
fools pick in discouragements.
Thorns tipped black stab,
still trying a red rose rehab.
In a world of dark souls,
many difficult evil ghouls,
so exist this black froze.

In a vase of strength,
existing no nourishment length.
Suffering from lack of light,
black rose thorns on sight.
There's a black rose was red,
now it exist part soul dead.

Beautiful writing Grady....
I notice the red rose turns black when
it dies....but I do believe also that
there is a black rose...I saw a picture of
one once...and I didnt like it...it was
gruesome to me...you have some great lines
in this one...bravo...floria
