You better love yourself,
because others will dog you to death.
Even your own brain,
will at times try to drive you insane.
When others aren't beating,
your own mind is devil competing.

But if you love yourself truly,
you will execute lifes dilemmas duely.
The less stupidity and anger,
the less we end up with a broken finger.
The devil and anger will try to rule,
they'll beat on a behind with a drool.

Most everyone goes with the flow,
welcomes the devil right in the door.
Worst mistake to ever make,
that is if you want to eat another birthday cake.
I've seen 54 birthdays to date,
but they weren't all because I learn to lovingly relate.

My first choice use to be the flow,
until I learned that the flow would end me up out the door.
I learned some control,
before my behind end up in the hole.
I'm mad as hell right now,
but I will not make devil food my chow.
