watchout for the black cat.
The rain is outside,
don't open the umbrella inside.
Superstition leads the way,
in putting fear in our day.

Some of us live in so much fear,
we practically force the devil to appear.
And make no mistake,
let fear rule, the demon will take.
He'll take your heart and soul,
then turn your totality cold.

There's nothing wrong with fear in the norm,
it's the bad fear that does all the harm.
Too much of anything,
can unbalance everything.
Normal fear can be a form of protection,
as long as it doesn't freeze our chosen direction.
If fear freezes the tracks,
the demons can better aim their attacks.
Catch us standing still,
then go for the kill.

Moving targets are harder to hit,
so please don't sit!
