Down words affect our roll,
sooner or later they take their toll.
Birthed out another mouth foul,
truly worked on us as a child.
Some continue to afflict,
for years causing great conflict.

A father screamed, "stupid boy!"
For years these words destroy.
Products of stupid insensitivity,
aimed at preventing positive activity.
Overcome, adapt improvise,
shed negative words not wise.

Quite a few operate to down,
listen to them you'll hit the ground.
Nothings worse than being stopped,
other than your head being chopped.
Fear of failure will romance,
but it's still best to foward advance.
Don't be held down,
keep positivity abound!
