Coffee

At the start of my day,
during the time I'm in dismay,
I love to drink a cup of coffee.
It has become almost a ritual,
more or less down right habitual.
I look forward to coffee drinking,
the same as I do my pen inking.

I love sugar and creme,
to fulfill my coffee dream.
I love laughing, smiling
and feeling good.
A nice cup of coffee wakes me
to the start of this mood.

I plan to wake in a state of joy,
even as evil tries to destroy.
I know this is part fantasy,
no such animal in ecstasy.
Knowing,
is like the wind blowing.
There's no control of the wind,
not even where it will end.

A good cup of coffee is my start,
along with a plan of joy in my heart.
Maybe if we start with a good thought,
an ending plan won't be nought.
We're all just human sources,
at times no control over lifes forces.
At times we do control down and up,
it begins with my coffee cup.

G

As you live in MD, you probably have a WAWA right 'round the corner and they have the best coffee and cappacino anywhere, as far as I am concerned...Andy is almost right too, but I take my coffee as Earl Grey...Enjoyed this offering, G...............E & R

I love my morning coffee too, Grady. It, like the sunrise, reminds me to lovingly embrace another day. Half n Half and Splenda for me please.
Take care,
Sherry

A good cup of coffee is my start,
along with a plan of joy in my heart.

I can't think of a better way to start any morning, Grady. I gotta have my coffee, too - and joy at yet another brand new morning is the way to go!
