What next,
explained in the bible text?
Natural disasters predicted,
human stupidity inflicted.
Mother natures curse,
or mans much worse.

Terror hit hard,
sunami ripped apart.
War took front page,
now katrina's on the rampage.
People are dying and suffering,
forget the devils offering.

My next move isn't slanted,
no more taking life for granted.
Everyday there is sun,
there's opportunity for fun.
Opportunity to take advantage,
while I can still manage.

I'll manage to smile,
try to have joy awhile.
I feel for those in katrina,
but I haven't felt or seen her.
When I finish praying,
on with the playing.
