Focus on Win

It's the focus that counts, not the wrong amounts.

Hope I'm more right
than I am wrong.
Seems like everything wrong,
feels right.
It's not a mixed up affair
got to clear the air.

The difference between
right and wrong is clear.
Question is,
what do you hold most dear?
The casino over church,
the devil over God?
Peace or war?
Love or hate?

On this new year
right appeals to my conscious.
Sure I want cherry,
but I'm not going to worry.
Conscious effort appeals,
the devil deals.
God stands strong,
still many times I'm wrong.

But I focus on all the things
I do right.
Sure there's a fraction,
some things need subtraction.
After I do the math,
I still stand strong on
my chosen path.
In my mind wrong doesn't
trump grand,
most important to me is
that I understand.

What reason do I do this,
what reason do I do that?
Always try to pin
the devil to the mat.
If I fail too pin,
I still focus on win.
