There aren't any magic bullets in this life. We do the best we can with what we have. Sooner or later our luck runs out. On the way home from work I almost got wiped out by a bus real close.
Cowboy pulled out his gun, the Indians wouldn't run. There were too many to shoot, they were after his loot. Out numbered and out of ammunition, the cowboy retreated from his position.
All he had left was his knife, which wasn't enough to protect his life. The indians were closing in fast, the cowboy had survived in the past. Seems his nine lives were over, cause he had no more cover.
All the Indians found him, then started to surround him. The cowboy fought until the end, until he could no longer defend. The indians left him where he lay, soon after came the birds of prey.
