Some of us expect too much, don't get it, we lose touch.

Poem Artwork

I always expect,
life not to workout correct.
When it does,
I enjoy the buzz.
Like a honey bee,
I laugh and smile with glee.

Never worry about tomorrow,
most of the time it shows up in sorrow,
I always expect the horrow.
If I don't get the scare of my life,
I celebrate not suffering the misery & strife.
Life is like the monster Gozilla,
sometimes worse than King Kong the big Gorilla.

Knowing all of this,
this world I still love the bliss,
I give joy a big kiss.
I roll with the happy and the sad,
but moreso with the glad.
When things don't fit,
I try to force it.
Do my best,
then don't give a chit.
I'm double jointed,
this way I don't get disappointed.

Much to be said for not expecting too much out of life, happiness is probably much easier to achieve.
