Well...you've summed it up in a few lines and said it well my friend...I like you enjoy reviews, but that is not my purpose or my goal...I have written and scribbled poetry since I can remember, at home as a teen, in biology class, probably on the bathroom wall in high school (Yeah, I had a mischievous side) I have written poetry on lunch breaks, for my students, friends, for my children, husband, mother, sister, and grandchildren, actually most of my family...I like you write for pleasure, and expression, and hopefully to help, enlighten, or encouragae others...You are a true delight to read my friend, always full of upbeat poetry. Write on!

Hi One! :) This is too cute...I like how you managed to think as you wrote along...clever to say the least...Now your gonna make us all feel guilty, and your gonna rack um' on up! (reviews, One, reviews)

Anywho~ You want us to now say HOW much we really love you, so, that's it...

the part I love the best though is..." Too cut the bull", there you go AGAIN, mispelling "to" (now I'm really rollin' ROFLMAO!

i agree. it is not the number of reviews that count, it is on what the readers say. i do not mean to say that they are useless but they do help a lot in improving our craft.

If we were writing for reviews, I doubt that any of us would feel we got the recognition we were looking for. I think most of us write because it is in us and we feel the need to put it out there for that one person who might need to read our words. If it is fame we seek, poetry is probably not a smart venue choice since it is form that is about a hundred years dead, but it is from the heart and for that, I feel it is always worth leaving it as a footprint for those who come here long after we are gone. People who go out of their way to discourage others don't deserve any reaction from us; ignoring their cutting comments is the best way to invalidate them. We will never please everyone, and sometimes we will please no one else, but if we please ourself, then it was worth the write.

Hi Grady:

I don't know what's going on in the den, and I don't know why you keep thinking that you are not well-liked in here. I, for one, like your poems, because they always carry a good message.

I might not have the chance to review everyone's work, including yours, but I certainly don't dislike anyone just for being here, like some others do. Everyone has the right to be here, especially when we all have to pay to be in here.

Pay no attention to the small people who are just envious of the words that you speak. Write your poetry to your heart's content, and be happy!!!!!!
