The way my body has been down,
I've got to look up and around.
But it's hard to look up,
when your body is down & corrupt.
Still there is a thought,
in one that I am caught.

Jesus,
he came to please us.
And please he will,
the thought of Him is a pure thrill.
Anyway when the pain hits hard,
if you don't,
you'll wish you have a God,
whether in whole or in part.
Let the story be told,
the Lord is better in whole.
God is out of this worlds view,
yet right here with me and you.

Like many I have my doubt,
many times I sit and pout.
But I can not ignore the surge,
when thoughts of Jesus and God merge.
It gives me a feeling of healing power within,
that I can possibly overcome and win.

I'm telling everyone right up,
I prayed to God my pains would be less corrupt.
As I sit here and write this verse,
I'm feeling better and not worse.
So in the power of Holy thought,
I do not mind being caught.
You caught me thinking,
because it's right in this inking.
Feeling much better got my eyes blinking.

I'm actually looking up winking,
thanking the Lord I'm not a ship sinking.
Yesterday I was sinking down,
almost under the water about to drown.
This morning my body and soul is calm,
I do not mind sending this poetic alarm.

Away goes the storm!
