I figure I could sit around and be yellow,
or brush myself off and say hello.
Surely there are reasons to be a negative fellow.
But I prefer to say hello,
hello to everything that is good,
things that help keep us in a joyous mood.
Only a coward would refuse to face up,
and continue to let his mind stay corrupt.

I'm getting ready to burst out this door of mine,
try to enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
Oh sure it's cold outside,
but I won't let this affect my ride.
The vultures are soaring in the sky,
but the song birds are singing as they fly.

Good morning great world of hue,
how do you do,
it's your lovelinest that I ensue?
In my great community,
I do have this opportunity.
The advantage is on my side for sure,
so it's time to say hello to this cure.
