see what the Lord has to say,
it's a good start of a day.

but less meat.
Do rest,
but refuse to pest.
Do relax,
but pay your tax.
Do work a job,
don't go out and rob,
make some little old lady sob.
Do love,
but refuse to shove.
Only push if necessary,
it will cause less worry.

Don't hate,
learn to lovingly relate.
Don't eat too much,
try to stay in touch.
Don't over sleep,
everything won't keep.
Don't lie,
a fist may hit your eye,
your troubles may multiply.
Don't do stupid,
it's best to hang with cupid.

Do's and don'ts,
wills and won'ts.
Just do the best you can,
we're just woman and man.
At least try and make a good plan.
