I found out Santa Clause wasn't real, but I still get a Christmas thrill. No such thing as a Easter bunny, but the toy rabbits sure look funny. Quite a few things in this world are phony, even some pork called baloney. It has a lot of fillers, some preservatives are even killers.
Never met the devil, but I have experienced his evil. God is the greatest wonder of the universe, he suppose to help void the devils curse. He sent sweet Jesus, to try and help please us. This world has us all under the gun, some fight hard others run, sometimes either way we get a stun.
Who knows what to really believe, there's so much that does decieve? If I'm going to be under any gun, it'll be believing in the holy One. I can't hang with evil, so later on for the devil. Everything that represents good, I'll chase it like a termite chases wood.
Note: Since my husband's cancer surgery 4/25/05, this book content has been integrated into the public speaking content for audiences interested in a sassy approach to personal and/or community awareness events. Another chapbook on intimate love poet
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.
P.S. The title is listed on Amazon under Look for Something Good by Robert Drews (not by Robert H. Drews)
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
I'll chase it like a termite chases wood.
