!.#$%^&*()_()_+<>? no telling!

If it wasn't for my verse,
my life would be worse.
I wouldn't be writing,
life would be less exciting.
My hands wouldn't have nothing to do,
I wouldn't even know you.

My brain wouldn't be able to express,
I'd just be sitting I guess.
Sitting and thinking,
eyes probably blinking,
while my inner thoughts were winking.
Banging my head wanting out,
I'd probably have to jump up
and twist and shout,
let all my frustrations out.

My verse helps kill my boredom quick,
as it continues to put me in its trick.
Can't verse about too much,
have to keep these words in touch,
even though they have become crutch.
We can't verse out the whole story,
later on we maybe sorry.

O

This poem rings a bell of truth for me as a writer. Comforting to see it expressed. The title is humorously true as well. R
