Two little words with a big meaning.

Five days a week
we work hard for our money,
seven days a week,
sometimes nothing seems funny.
But we manage to get a smile or two in,
maybe even a grin.

Today is only tuesday,
we got two more till friday.
The weekends on its way,
got to make time to get out and play,
no matter what anyone may say.
Lets party hard as we can,
having some fun should be the plan.

Plans don't always work out,
they got to be forced about,
so some fun can take route.
All work and no play,
we might as well be swepted away.
The devil has the broom,
life provides the gloom,
but we control the room.
Out in the garden lovely flowers bloom,
amoungst all the doom.

Somewhere there's a dance floor,
with a welcoming mat at the door.
Lets party like there's no tomorrow,
dance away some of this sorrow.
Party for the man that begs,
dance for the man with no legs.
Party for those stuck in,
torn apart by the tornado wind.
With nothing left,
but themself.
Lets celebrate,
before it's too late.
And disaster rules our fate,
we all have a date.

O

I hate living for the weekend, that's why I can't wait to retire(not at 65 of course much sooner) so I can sit somewhere in a log cabin and write all day and party every day.
