I'm coming clean on my tricky escapade about being a failure, actually I just wanted to see how many of my friends and non friends were sympathetic. The poem about failing my father is true and heartfelt though. Anyway I went negative for a few verses. I'll understand if I'm kicked to the dogs.
I don't pride
in taking you all
on a phony ride
I haven't failed
truth is I've excelled
I have a great job
that I love
Regardless of the
push and shove
I've been married for
20 plus years
and my wife and I
actually get along
have a relationship strong
I earned a B.S. degree
Some say the BS
stands for bull chit
which is exactly
what I've been doing
to all of you
I'm a published author
about to be twice over
I've been a poet on AD
for several years
seen quite a few leave
because of their fears
and our mean poetic dears
I'm still here
dealing with my fear
God has granted me
a loving heart
This I appreciate
each day I try to initiate
My phony actions are
unforgivable
but livable
I have to forgive myself
which I'm very good at
So swing your
best bat
While I suffer in regret
I'll always read ya' Grady, may be a cram-session sometimes, but

I missed the trick, Grady, but I'm sure you had a good reason if you wrote with trickery. Fiction is a great form of literature. You are apparently just one posting late with the label. LOL
