I heard
One monkey don't
stop no show
But this is what I know
Two monkeys almost
stopped my show

If one monkey
is the star
he might stop
the show by far
First monkey with
a wrench
was my fathers pinch
He never came within
a mile must less an inch
In fact he stunk
I never got to smell his stench
but I felt his wrench

Monkey number two
was me
Live and in living color
As a kid growing up in a society
oriented toward the dollar
I came real close to
going under
yes baby boy wonder
got hit with evil thunder
along the way did blunder
But I refused to
completely visit down yonder
So the devil did ponder
Until this very day
he still tries to make me pay
because he couldn't get his way

I don't give ways
come after me
you better be prepared to take
and forget it if you're fake
Follow me long enough
you might get blessed
even if you're evily dressed
